Phase 1 of Virtual Tour.com is finally here! We will be constantly improving upon this site as we get more ideas and input from our users. The basic site design is meant to be simple and easy to navigate. It can get very frustrating to spend time on a site that is cumbersome and difficult to find your way around. We've designed VirtualTour.com to have basic functionality that encompasses everything you need to search or post virtual tours.

There are 3 main functions of VirtualTour.com:

  • Searching for tours:

On the left hand side of the site, you'll notice an area marked "search categories". This is where you begin your search. As the site grows in popularity, we anticipate having an abundance of tours for many different categories. Simply click on the one that best describes what you're searching for and away you go.
  • Posting a tour:

Currently, VirtualTour.com has partnered with a few companies from different industries and has incorporated their tour feeds into our site. In the near future, we will be activating this "Post a Tour" option for anyone that has a link to a virtual tour they've created or for anyone who wants to build a virtual tour to utilize. This feature will allow you to create a basic page describing your tour and then you'll be able to provide a link out to see the actual virtual tour in action.
  • Submitting a tour feed:

If you're a company that has an inventory of items with pictures and/or virtual tours, contact us today about posting them on this site. VirtualTour.com is a free service for you as we are essentially just an aggregator of anything and everything with a tour. Submitting your tour feed to our site will simply help maximize your exposure and your clients' exposure to the traffic we receive of people looking at tours.

Also on this site you'll see other functions. We have a "Providers" page that is designed to give you options of virtual tour providers in today's market place. If you do not see who you are using for your tours here, please notify them and ask them to contact us to be placed there. We just need some basic information from them to index them. We also have a "Blog" page. We'll be blogging consistently on industry news, company news and anything that we feel you'll find interesting.

Well, there you have it. Our initial launch is a success and we are already working on the upcoming release of Phase 2. If you have a tour feed to send us, please contact us today to get the process started. If you create virtual tours and would like to have your tours automatically sent to this site, contact your virtual tour provider and ask them to submit their inventory here. It's a very simple process with nothing but upside. We're looking forward to interacting with you. Best wishes for 2010.
